Spotted! A fabulous lightweight foundation that’s stirring up quite the buzz in the beauty world. This little gem delivers a sheer, hydrating finish fit for the Upper East Side elite. With its user-friendly applicator, it’s like gossip girl’s best-kept secret, no brush required! But watch out, sometimes it plays a little streaky, leaving you wanting to touch up with another brush or sponge for that flawless look. And oh, the scent! It’s like a whiff of Manhattan glamour in a bottle. Plus, you’re getting a bang for your buck with a generous amount of product. But heed this, darling: the shades run warmer and lighter than expected, so sampling before splurging is a must. And here’s the tea: the color warms up as the day unfolds, giving you that sunkissed glow even on the dreariest of days. XOXO.
Dive into the world of NUXE body scrub, darlings! Picture this – a chic, minimalistic packaging that screams Upper East Side elegance, delivering a serious bang for your beauty buck. The exfoliation grain? Thicker than the plot twists at a gossip girl soirée, giving you a deep scrub that’s practically scandalous. Now, let’s talk texture. It’s a gel-like affair, a bit sticky, but fear not. A splash of water or a flirty touch of wet hands, and you’ll have a spreadable potion that would make even Blair Waldorf jealous. Post-scrub, your skin is practically dripping in radiance, a glow fit for summer. The scent? Clean, not too heavy – just the right amount of allure. Pair it with the body oil, and you’ve got the ultimate power couple, like Chuck and Blair of skincare. The clean, subtle scent enhances the overall experience. For enthusiasts of effective exfoliation, this product is a standout. Suitable for both men and women, it’s a must-try for a satisfying skincare routine. But wait, sweetie, a little birdie told me to keep an eye on the texture. If it’s playing games, swap it out – because who wants a skincare scandal when you can have a flawless experience? XOXO, your secret skincare confidante. 💋
I don't like to write negative reviews, but somehow I can't help myself when I come across a product with an unreasonably high price. I admit that I approached Rodial Dragon's Blood eye gel with high expectations, on the one hand, because of the many good reviews I had read about the product (and the range as a whole), and on the other hand, because Rodial is among the high-end brands. And maybe the problem is just high expectations...😉 Well, my eye area has never felt more dry and dehydrated than after using this product. To the point that I got a weird red, peeling, scaly patch on one eyelid. And the brand still promises that the gel restores through skin hydration and provides long lasting moisturisation. I also cannot say that it reduces the appearance of under eye puffiness or that it has an anti-aging effect. In short, I am very disappointed.
Ultimate skincare product for the scalp💚 One for the mr💙 #hairstory The past year my other half has been suffering with psoriasis on his face and scalp, we did find a shampoo that worked, but he hated it, it smelt really bad, and not just his head the bathroom smelt awful and he said when it goes in his eyes it really stings After becoming part of this community which is thought was just skincare! I learned alot and vichy also do a hair range! And managed to get my hands on a sample of this shampoo😍💚 which was great!! My other half has quite thin hair and got 3 washes out of the sample and LOVED IT! he said it smells great, it doesnt burn his eyes and it works! Normally if he changes shampoo it comes back with in days and it hasn’t. So bought him the bottle. He is very happy with it and will continue to use it, which is amazing for him because it really got him down and he hated using the other shampoo…. Thankyou vichy for a fab product and helping the mr’s self confidence 💙💙💙

CERAVE FACIAL MOISTURISING LOTION WITH SPF30 This product comes in a good sized 52ml tube with an attached pump head for easy removal of the product from the tube. The moisturizing lotion has a nice creamy texture and is easy to apply without any mess. You can either pump the product onto your fingers to apply to the face or if preferred you can apply from the pump directly to the skin. The moisturizing lotion is fragrance free and is very gentle on the skin making it perfect for all skin types including sensitive. I have been using this moisturizing lotion for over a week and I am happy with the results. I apply it as part of my morning skincare routine to freshly cleansed skin and after my serum. I wait for the serum to fully absorb before applying. The lotion feels cool and refreshing when applied to the skin and absorbs quickly without any sticky feeling. You simply apply it liberally to your face and neck for an instant pick me up of hydration. Avoid contact with the eyes as it is not intended for use around the eye area. Skin feels instantly plumped and bouncy and really soft and smooth. It also leaves the skin looking healthy with a nice glow. I love that this product contains SPF30 protection so as well as your skin being hydrated and soothed it is also protected from harmful UVA and UVB rays.
Garnier Skin Naturals Ultralift Complete Beauty Night Cream Garnier Ultralift Night Cream has a really rich and luxurious texture that is super easy to remove from the jar. It applies to the skin so well instantly absorbing into the skin like the skin is drinking it. A little goes a long way and as it absorbs you can feel your skin texture firming. I love it and it also has a really pleasant scent that is not overpowering. On waking in the morning my skin looks brighter and rested. With continuous use fine lines and wrinkles become reduced. This night cream contains regenerative plant cells, that have a powerful multi anti-ageing action for anti-wrinkle, anti-spots and delivers a firming and radiance boosting effect. It is also enriched with Pro-retinol derived from nature, which is released continuously after application to the skin.
Cloudberry bright essence toner 75ml courtesy of sephora by Glow Recipe is fabulous. Serum like clear gel ,that smooths onto your skin after cleansing. The gel is very cooling, there's no real fragrance but it's lightweight which I love as I have combination skin. Instantly gives a smooth appearance to the skin. Has added vitamin C and E so you know it's helping your skin out. This product also has coQ10, fermented rice water ,oat& collagen amino acids which all have benefits for the skin to improve its appearance. The bottle itself is so cut orange berry shaped pump bottle that delivers just the right amount of product every time. The recommendation is for 1-2 pumps into hands then pat into skin after cleansing, morning and night. I applied 1pump my skin feels very cooled and then soft as this product absorbs.
Aside from the fact the Sephoras favourite selections are INCREDIBLE, the “Makeup Extravaganza” set has something for everyone… plus the one size setting powder I saw everyone testing is on my list😍I would love to have that one for myself as I absolutely love the iconic products chosen, plus my next choice would be too greedy all to myself 🫣My lovely sister has been unleashing her creative side makeup and with myself  not allowed typical advent calendar treats the Sephora favourites advent calendar would be incredible to share with her! There is so much that it would kit out both my sister and I however I’d have to share some of both as sharing is caring ☺️❤️Thank you for the opportunity @Lydia @SephoraUK I had fun teasing myself looking at the fab gift sets 😍🤪
🏅 Sephora Favourites gifting bundle - Savage’s wish list. If I were to win this prize, I would choose the Sephora Favourites, The Bath & Body Collection, for my Mam Yvonne. I would choose the Sephora Favourites, The Makeup Extravaganza.  Why should we be considered for the prize? My mam is retiring from the NHS after over 40 years on service, in a months time. She has cared, and looked after so many people through her years as a Nurse, and I think she deserves a little gift of care back! If I were to win I’d be over the moon to give her this little treat as a well done for her years of service to the country and the NHS. I’d be glowing from joy and hopefully the Makeup Extravaganza Collection too!! I hope we are considered for the prize, as thanks to my hardworking, generous and all round fantastic Mam and Nurse, Yvonne Savage. 🤞🛁👩🏻‍⚕️🫅🏻🧖🏻‍♀️❤️
Can’t recommend more for KP sufferers!!!Where to start? Where to start? Where to start? I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!!! I didn’t think anything would be able to help me tackle my KP (Keratosis Pilaris), and I grew up being told to just scrub using a hand towel or something like that and it’ll go away, and yet it never worked; when I say I started to see a difference after one use, I absolutely mean it. From the texture to the actual application, it’s really easy to use, non-scented so it didn’t irritate my skin, and each particle of the scrub was even and in comparison to other body scrubs, wasn’t abrasive on my skin. The creaminess of the product was everything, I was expecting it to be harsh against my sensitive skin, yet it was nothing of the sort. After testing it for a few weeks, I’ve seen a lot of improvement and my skin feels and looks smoother, and I cannot recommend this product more. It’s become a holy grail product in my shower routine and it’s a staple in my house now.
Final sensitive skin recommendation for the day, I've been using the Skinfix Barrier+ Triple Lipid-Peptide Cream. I had used the Skinfix Barrier+ Triple Lipid-Peptide Lotion as part of a Sephora Community Test and Review and did quite like it, though I was never sure exactly where to put it in my routine. The cream version works really well as a night moisturiser on the sensitive areas of my skin: across my nose, over to my cheeks and on my chin. I always find using a heavy night cream to help with wrinkles is great for my forehead, under my eyes etc, but causes havoc with my sensitive lower half of my face, so I'm trying to split my face and treat areas with different products. The Skinfix cream still feels rich enough to be used as a night time moisturiser and layers well with my other topical treatments without pilling. I find the lower half of my skin texture has become much smoother, and it does feel like a little barrier has formed overnight to lock in moisture.
Another of my favourites to help with sensitivity from the Dermalogica Ultracalming range is the Ultracalming Cleanser. This is my nighttime cleanser and on days when I don't exfoliate because my skin is too sensitive, I use this in the morning too. The cleanser has a lovely gel/silicone like texture and can be rubbed on with fingertips whilst forming a gentle barrier to reduce skin on skin friction. It helps cool down your skin on application. You can remove it with water, but I personally remove it by wiping it off with tissue, so I don't have to use water on my face. Both the temperature of the water and the water quality can have an effect on my redness and using a tissue to remove takes that stress away. I wipe it away in long, gentle strokes to reduce as much contact as possible. The cleanser works well for a double cleanse after makeup and by using a tissue to remove, you can even see when your foundation has fully come off and make sure you don't leave clogged pores behind. One of the great tips I picked up from the Sephora Dermalogica masterclass earlier this year was to use the cleanser as a cooling mask, which also really helps reduce redness when you're getting ready for bed.
Number 3 on my sensitive skincare list is the Clinique Even Better Clinical Serum Foundation. I'm a full coverage girlie to hide my redness, and this works really well with just one pump. I use a tiny smidge extra to go over and layer up in the most angry areas. This applies really nicely with a damp beauty blender and doesn't oxidize. It contains a product called CL302, which is a natural ingredient that treats pigmentation whilst you wear it. It's also made up of Vitamin C, which my skin is hypersensitive to usually, but manages to tolerate really well in this foundation, as well as hyaluronic acid and a mineral SPF. It's a matte coverage, but it manages to not look flat, even with such full coverage. It stays on really well throughout the day - I do add pressed powder across my problem areas, but setting this with a loose powder or a setting spray will leave it sticking to skin well without needing a touch up. What I love the most about this foundation is that I feel I'm "treating" my skin with something useful to control my outbreaks whilst still keeping my redness covered. I've been using this in place of my YSL in shade CN10 and it feels very comfortable and light, whilst still being high end enough to wear as a formal occasion foundation!
Next on my sensitive skin saviours is the Barrier Repair from Dermalogica. I've used this for a long time to help with sensitive skin and rosacea, and it has several great ways of using: 1. You can use this as an all over moisturiser - or to "spot protect" across your nose and cheeks. It works really well at protecting skin when you're outside in chilly weather. 2. You can use this as a mask - Dermalogica suggest on flights - but I sometimes use this to sleep in when I'm having a bad flare. It only takes a light layer and is also great on fine lines. 3. You can use it as a primer. It sits wonderfully well under makeup and treats your skin at the same time. It has a silicone type consistency which helps with oily skin and holds foundation in place really well. 4. You can use this to help get rid of the remnants of an outbreak in the healing phase. It works really well to soften skin and protect the spot from pollution by forming a little comfortable barrier over it.
The person I would send this to would be not only my mum but the best nanny that my children could have, my mum stepped up at 53 years old to take on my twin girls and raise them as I suffered post natal and pre natal depression I want her to feel special everyday which she loves things that smell nice the fragrance section would be perfect for her as a daily reminder each time she sprays she’s beautiful and strong and I will forever appreciate her and what she’s done for our family more than she will ever know she never puts herself first and hasn’t treated her self for years so I’d like her to be able to have a surprise and a selection, if I had to pick for myself something I would be in need of define your hair routine gift set as I had neglected myself due to being ill lost a lot of hair and now just trying to work with what I have and bring it all to good health
The Sephora Favourites Makeup Extravaganza giftset would be perfect for my beautiful mum. Mama G has been set in her ways for years regarding makeup, and I mean set! For years!! (LY Mum 😁) And has only just started branching out with new bits. A lil encouragement always helps. My mum deserves a lil special something to help her focus some time on herself after a tough year and this giftset be a lovely surprise for her under the Xmas tree. I would choose the Sephora Favourites Define Your Hair Routine giftset for myself because your girl here now needs all the help she can get.😊  What was supposed to be giving my bra length hair it's usual trim *sobs* resulted in it ending up as essentially a long bob. *sobs harder*  It kept looking longer on one side than the other so of course I had to even it out... and...just...kept...going... (I've resigned to the fact I just have a wonky head at this point.) I mean I'm gutted, but it's my own fault 😅😅😅  This set may contain a miracle and/or flux capacitor of which I wish to explore. 💛
Dear Sephora, I'm absolutely thrilled about the Sephora Favourites Skincare Saviors Gift Set! It's the perfect gift for the holiday season, and I can already imagine the joy it would bring to my best friend, Jakhlin. Jakhlin has never explored the world of skincare before, and winning this gift set would be a game-changer for her. With its curated selection of skincare essentials, it would transform her skin and boost her confidence like never before. As for me, winning this competition would be a dream come true. The Sephora Favourites Skincare Saviors Gift Set would take my self-care routine to new heights, allowing me to pamper myself with high-quality skincare treasures. Thank you for this amazing opportunity. I eagerly await the announcement and the chance to spread the gift of radiant skin to Jakhlin this holiday season.
The Makeup Extravaganza Sephora Favourites Gift Set is my dream come true! With such a diverse range of items, it's the ideal ensemble for experimenting with various styles ranging from delicate and radiant to bold and edgy, which I adore. I'd like to retain some of the set for myself, because it covers such a wide spectrum of makeup techniques that I'd like to try. The Natasha Denona Mini Zendo Eye Palette is ideal for producing both subtle daytime looks and smoky nighttime effects. It would be endlessly creative to pair it with the Lord & Berry Le Petit Liner and Huda Beauty Glowish Cheeky Vegan Blush Powder.I would, however, gladly share certain favourites with friends and family. I'd give the ONE/SIZE Ultimate Blurring Setting Powder and the Beautifect Blender to my bestie who values a flawless complexion. These items would aid in achieving a flawless finish that would last throughout any party or social event. I'd also give her the Nudestix Nudies Deluxe Mini Blush Picante and Made By Mitchell Blursh Liquid Blush in Strawberry Cream as she enjoys experimenting with blushes and a burst of colour on their cheeks. The rest of the package is a mix of necessities and statement pieces, so I'd construct little personalised sets for my other makeup-obsessed friends and share the thrill of discovering these amazing goods with them. ❤️ 🎀
🌹Hi, Sephora community fam! Sharing the excitement of gifting the Sephora Favourites Bath & Body Collection to my incredible sister – the hero of a challenging year. ❤️ Here's why our story deserves a spot in the spotlight: My sister, a true hardworking gem, has faced every twist this year threw at her with grace and resilience. From long work hours to navigating life's curveballs, she's been a beacon of strength. The Sephora Favourites Bath & Body Collection? It's not just a gift; it's a sanctuary – a blend of sleep-sprays, scented candles, and pampering delights curated to turn her space into a haven of calm. Imagining her unwinding amidst the comforting aroma of Holistic London's scented candle, enveloped in the soothing embrace of Aromatherapy Associates' Deep Relax Sleep Mist.❤️ It's a personalized retreat crafted with love.❤️ So, why should my story be chosen? Because behind this gift is a narrative of resilience, love, and the beauty of self-care. ☺️✨and as we see, Sephora community is not just gifting a set, they are gifting a moment of serenity to someone who truly deserves it. Good luck to everyone ❤️❤️❤️
I just want to gush about how amazing the Ordinary's Soothing barrier and support serum is. I bought it because I'd tried a new acid product and my skin hadn't liked it at all. It had started peeling and stinging and I couldn't get it back to normal despite stopping all harsh products. Within days of using this my skin was miles better, now (I think its been about a week and a half) it's looking better than it ever has and the surprise is that the cystic acne I get on my chin has gone and has been replaced by a few tiny spots that go away promptly. The dark and red marks on my chin from old spots are clearing up. My skin looks so much more hydrated. It loves this stuff. It is a huge recommend from me. And the pink colour comes from vitamin b12, which is naturally bright red and I assume goes pink when mixed with other white ingredients in the mix.
If I had the chance to win the Sephora Favourites Gift Sets, I would share “Beauty has no age” with two of my favourites too thats my incredible mom and my amazing best friend. 💕 My mom has always been there for me, supporting and encouraging me every step of the way. She's taught me so much about self-care and embracing my natural beauty. Sharing this gift set with her would be a beautiful way to show my love and appreciation. And my best friend, well, she's like a sister to me. We've been through so much together, and we always have the best time experimenting with new beauty products. It would be so special to share this gift set with her and create even more wonderful memories together. I would keep “the makeup extravaganza” because i love dolling myself up a bit too much! Winning this contest would mean the world to me, as it would allow me to spread joy and love to the two most important women in my life. 🌸💖
It is soooo, but so hard to chose! All the Sephora Favorite Gift sets are amazing, but these two are absolutely dreamy: Sephora Favourites Beauty Has No Age And Sephora Favourites Makeup Extravaganza I would be over the moon to receive any of them. When it comes to gifting, I would definitely chose The Make Extravaganza for my girls. Let me tell you a few things about these incredible “my girls”. We met here, in Sephora Community, about two years ago, and since then we have been in each other’s lives permanently. Happiness, joy, anger, frustration, funny memes, masterclass reminders, we share all together. We still didnt organise a reunion, because we dont really live close to each other, but we are so close and united! I dont know what I would do without them! So, yes, the Sephora Favorites The Makeup Extravaganza would be my choice for them. After I am posting this, I will go to our WhatsApp group to ask if I made a good (theoretical) choice! 🤞🏻
Garnier Gentle Hydrating Deep Facial Cleanser Garnier Gentle Hydrating Deep Facial Cleanser ----- I am really impressed with this great facial cleanser. It comes in a good sized 250ml pump bottle which is very easy to use. This cleanser is a foaming cleanser so you apply it to wet skin to create a lovely luxurious foam. This cleanser really does go a long way so one small pump per application is sufficient to cleanse the whole face. It is suitable for all skin types especially sensitive as it is fragrance free and extremely gentle. For the last 2 weeks I have been using it as part of a double cleanse along with the micellar water for sensitive skin. My skin looks so clear and healthy. Doing a double cleanse is a great way to make sure you have completely removed all makeup and impurities from the skin. I have combination skin with enlarged pores around the nose area. Since doing a double cleanse my skin looks and feels smoother and the look of pores and texture of the skin looks more refined. I would definitely recommend.
Garnier Micellar Water for Sensitive Skin The Garnier Micellar Water for sensitive skin is such a gentle but effective product. It is really effective at removing eye makeup and facial makeup without any irritation or stinging. It comes in a generous 400ml bottle and a little goes a long way. You simply apply to a cotton eco pad designed specially for cleansing. Apply the micellar water so that it feels damp on the pad but not soaking. Wiping gently in light strokes the cleanser lifts off makeup and residue from the skin without having to scrub or vigorously rub at the skin. It took off all my mascara, eyeliner, foundation, blush and lipstick, all with ease. This micellar water is great as there is no greasy or oily residue left behind on the skin. My skin also is left feeling comfortable and fresh without any dry or tight feeling like some products can do. I love to do a double cleanse in the evening to make sure my skin is totally makeup free and extra clean. To do this I use the Garnier hydrating deep cleanser after the initial cleanse with the micellar water. My skin is left so fresh and refined and I would definitely recommend.
Oh my goodness this is such a difficult one to pick as there are so many amazing Sephora Favourites Bundles and they all look amazing and unique in their own way! The set that I would gift would be the Beauty Has No Age Gift Set as my wonderful Mum is turning 60 in January and this would be the perfect set for her (pic of the beautiful lady below!) . She loves sample sizes as she likes to try new products and loves to travel and this set has some deluxe samples that would be perfect to allow her to try out some new products. She has always used Clinque and Lancome that are some of the brands included in the set and there are some brands such as Clarins and Estee Lauder that I know she would love. The set that I would want to keep would be the Makeup Extravaganza (but the Fragrance Collection also sounds AMAZING) because it would give me the chance to replace some well overdue old makeup in my collection. I only treat myself to high end makeup at special occasions so it would mean a lot to be able to treat myself to a set that has such variety. I've heard amazing things about the Made By Mitchell Blursh products and the colour in the set looks like it would be great for my skin tone. I also love that this set has some bold lip colours from Natasha Denona and Nudestix which would be so exciting to play around with as I love trying new makeup looks. Good luck to everyone entering, I'm sure whoever wins will be very happy and will share the wonderful bundle with the skincare and beauty enthusiasts in their lives.
I would gift The Sephora Favorites The Fragrance Collection as a Christmas gift to my lovely manager as it carries several thoughtful aspects. Given her dedicated work within NHS, with nurses and children, the diverse array of fragrances provides a moment of self-indulgence and relaxation. Additionally, the carefully curated collection reflects the appreciation for her hard work and the recognition of the challenges she faces in a demanding environment. This gesture communicates a desire to contribute to her well-being during the festive season and shows gratitude for her compassionate efforts in supporting both healthcare professionals and children and myself her employee.😊🧡If I could gift myself one of these it would be Sephora Favorites Makeup Extravaganza collection as it is a delightful way to elevate my personal beauty routine. This curated collection offers a diverse range of high-quality makeup products, allowing myself to explore and experiment with different looks. Treating myself to this extravagant set communicates a celebration of my individual style and self-expression. It serves as a reminder to prioritize self-care, indulging in the joy of makeup artistry and enhancing my confidence. The collection’s variety ensures I would have a versatile selection for various occasions, making it a perfect gift for a boost of glamour and self-appreciation. 🥰❤️Happy Holidays everyone 🧡🧡
I'd love to gift the "Beauty Has No Age Gift Set" to my mum, who's discovered a love of skincare this year in her 60s. She's taken to it like a duck to water (with a little push from me!) but is currently building up her dream day and night routines and I know she'd particularly love the idea of the Lotus Youth Preserve and the 111SKIN Celestial Black Diamond eye mask. I'd have to choose the Advent Calendar 2023 (though of course I'd share it with mum too, I always do her makeup for any special occasions!). There's some of my hero products from 2023: the Virtue hair oil that I told the Sephora Community to run and pick up in the Sephora Beauty Box; my new fave Medik8 Hydr8 B5 Intense serum which has had the most incredible effect on my frown lines; the Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm which has been the one oil cleanser that hasn't flared up my rosacea. I'd love the Juliette Has A Gu*n Not A Perfume that's been on my list since I smelt it in the Sephora Westfield store; another shade of the Rose Inc Satin Lip Color Lipstick since my purchase in the Sephora Beauty Box earlier this year and has become a staple in my collection and the Gxve Beauty Lipstick ('cos I'm just a girl, take a good look at me, just your typical prototype 👄).
Hi all❤️💚💙💜🖤💛 The Sephora gift box that I would choose for MYSELF is SEPHORA FAVORITES Advent Calendar 2023!!!!!! It is one of the most exclusive beauty advent calendars for me. The best part of Sephora Advent Calendar is the variety of products of amazing brands for hair, makeup, skin, body and fragrance such as Sol de Janeiro, Rare Beauty, Elemis, Tarte, REM beauty, Fenty or Drunk Elephant which I personally LOVE!!!!! Vichy sunscreen is an absolute game-changer in my daily beauty routine. I've always struggled with finding a sunscreen that doesn't leave a greasy or heavy feeling on my skin, but Vichy has completely changed the game for me. First off, I love that it's formulated with broad-spectrum SPF 50+ to provide maximum protection against harmful UV rays. This gives me peace of mind knowing that my skin is well-protected against sun damage and premature aging. The formula is lightweight and non-greasy, which is a huge plus for me. It absorbs quickly and doesn't leave any white cast or residue on my skin. I love that it's also water-resistant, so I don't have to worry about it rubbing off or sweating off during the day. One of the things I appreciate most about Vichy sunscreen is that it's suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin. I have fairly sensitive skin, and I've never had any issues with irritation or breakouts from using this sunscreen.
2/ What makes this product your favorite? My holy grail Vichy product is the Normaderm PhytoAction Daily Deep Cleansing Gel. Its unique blend of salicylic acid and natural origin active ingredients makes it my go-to solution for acne-prone skin. This gel not only deeply cleanses my skin, effectively removing impurities and excess oil, but it also contains ingredients that soothe and prevent further breakouts. The gentle yet potent formula is perfect for daily use, and I've noticed a significant reduction in my acne and acne scars since incorporating it into my routine. 3/ Tell us a Vichy product you can't live without?I can't imagine my skincare routine without the Vichy Normaderm PhytoAction Daily Deep Cleansing Gel. As someone who has struggled with acne and the lingering marks they leave behind, this product has been a game-changer. The salicylic acid not only helps prevent new breakouts but also exfoliates and promotes skin renewal, gradually diminishing the appearance of acne scars. Its non-drying formula ensures my skin stays balanced and healthy. Winning a 1:1 Dermatologist consultation with Dr. Mary Sommerlad would be an incredible opportunity to further enhance my skincare routine and work towards achieving my healthiest complexion yet and further tackling those enduring acne scars.

It is a wonderful product.
I purchased this product last year and recently acquired a new bottle. Given the scorching heat we experienced last year, the added protection from both UVA & UVB rays in this bottle made it an excellent choice for safeguarding my skin. It’s versatile and can be applied to your body and face. The squeeze top makes application easy and convenient. Apply it 15 minutes before heading out, just a quick spray, and you’re good to go. The compact size allows you to carry it in your handbag for touch-ups. I preferred reapplying it every 90 minutes, and it provided exceptional protection. This product contains Vichy Mineralizing Water and Hyaluronic Acid, which leaves your skin feeling incredibly soft and well-hydrated. Being water-based, it suits all skin types, including sensitive skin. It absorbs quickly into your skin without leaving a greasy residue or causing any stains on your skin or clothes. It’s available in both SPF30 and SPF50, providing high-level protection. Personally, I opt for SPF50, as I have very fair skin, and I didn’t experience any sun damage last year. It’s like magic in a bottle that lasts, conveniently coming in a 200ml size. Must have every year now
I recently discovered the Vichy Mineral 89 for the face, and I have to say, it has become an absolute staple in my skincare routine. This product is truly amazing and has made a massive difference in the appearance and hydration of my skin. First and foremost, the hydration this product provides is unparalleled. As someone with dry and dehydrated skin, finding a product that effectively locks in moisture has been a never-ending quest. However, since incorporating Vichy Mineral 89 into my daily routine, my skin feels incredibly hydrated and nourished throughout the entire day. This has resulted in a noticeable improvement in the overall texture and suppleness of my skin. One of the standout features of this product is its lightweight and fast-absorbing formula. It glides on effortlessly, instantly sinking into the skin without leaving any greasy or sticky residue behind. This makes it ideal for both morning and evening use, seamlessly integrating into any skincare regimen. I have also noticed a significant difference in the overall radiance and plumpness of my skin since using Mineral 89. It acts as a powerful booster, enhancing the effectiveness of other skincare products I use. It serves as a perfect base for my makeup, helping it glide on smoothly and flawlessly. Additionally, I appreciate the fact that the Vichy Mineral 89 is formulated with a high concentration of Vichy Mineralizing Thermal Water, which is known for its hydrating and soothing properties. It's free from parabens, fragrances, and oils, making it suitable for even the most sensitive skin. In conclusion, winning the Vichy Mineral 89 would be a dream come true. It has become an irreplaceable part of my skincare routine and has revolutionized the way my skin looks and feels. I cannot imagine going a day without it! If you're seeking a game-changing, hydrating, and transformative product for your skin, I wholeheartedly recommend giving Vichy Mineral 89 a try. Trust me, your skin will thank you!
I have very recently (within the week) brought these items, (the clarins one was a sample) and oh these have done wonders to my skin! My skin has become a lot more softer, smoother, some how my pores on my nose and cheeks have looked like theyve disappeared (i know they havent but they have become so minimised) my skin just looks better over all! I brought these to see if they can help after a bad few breakouts I have had with a product i tried before, they havent helped that much but the clarins sample ive only had for 3 days and i need to give it abit longer, the same with the other products, theres hardly any scent to any of them! If i dont have a late reaction to these products they are now going to be going into my skincare routine for good! I like to try the entire product before i go replacing items in my skincare products as I know purging of the skin can happen, so once i have used all of the products and im still happy with them they are getting added!

Garnier Micellar Milky Water All-in-1 --- I purchased this product in an amazing 700 ml bottle. Just by looking at the bottle you can tell that it is a good quality product. The Micellar Milky Water All-in-1 has a really pleasant light scent that is not overpowering. It cleanses the skin so well in an efficient and gentle way. It removes make-up and intensely cleanses skin of dirt, oil, SPF, pollution & dead skin cells - all in one step. I love using it with the Micellar Eco Pads which make it so luxurious. Aveeno Skin Relief Moisturizing Cream This moisturizing cream comes in a 200 ml tube and helps to heal very dry skin. It is formulated with a Prebiotic triple oat complex (Oat Flour + Oat Extract+ Oat Oil) and shea butter. The formula is clinically proven to moisturise, soothe and protect very dry irritable skin. It does this by helping to improve the balance of the skin’s natural microbiome. It gives you more resilient and healthy looking skin and with continuous use the effects get even better using it daily after your bath or shower. The scent is light. It comes out easily with a squeeze of the tube. The cream has a nice texture and soaks into the skin easily and it has helped keep my skin so soft. It is suitable for all the family although you can get Aveeno Baby which is slighter lighter in texture. It glides onto the skin effortlessly and a little goes a long way. Skin is left perfectly moisturized without any sticky or oily residue. I love it.
My hair had started to look very faded and straw like so I decided that I wanted to go for a more deeper colour. I tried Garnier GOD Permanent hair colour in shade 7.0 Almond Creme Dark Blonde. It left my hair with a lot more depth of colour. There is no brassy look, my hair shines, feels conditioned and looks so natural. The hair colour is so easy to use and I love that you can mix the hair colour in the same pot that all the ingredients come in. It has not got any strong or unpleasant smell whilst on the hair as it is infused with the scent of sandalwood, goji berry & orchid. With it's thick mask like texture there are no drips and it is so simple to use just like applying a mask on your hair. I love that GOOD is a 90% natural origin colour kit. Once applied to the hair you simply leave it to process for up to 30 minutes. Once the time is up rinse the colour from the hair until the water runs clear. You then give a light shampoo. When the shampoo is rinsed completely out I pat my hair with a towel to absorb the excess water so the conditioner can get straight into the hair and absorb better. In the contents of the tub a Silk and Shine conditioner is included. Enriched with nourishing shea butter care, it has a nice rich texture that coats the hair perfectly. I leave it to absorb for 2-3 minutes before rinsing. The hair feels like silk when rinsing out. When drying my hair it is super smooth and there is no tangling in the brush. My hair looks super healthy with beautiful highlights and tones. I would really recommend this wonderful product. Inside the Good Mixing Tub is a Wooden spatula, The developer cream, The colourant cream, Silk and Shine conditioner.

I have quite pale skin that is combination/oily in the summer and combination/dry in the winter, I break out easily if I use the wrong products on my face. What I love about this foundation is that it's oil free, so lightweight that it doesn't feel like your wearing any and it has micro-fil technology. This is your skin only better more luminous, dewy and flawless. Did I mention it's blemish blurring and hides redness and imperfections too. This makes my skin look like the perfect flawless canvas. As well as improving my skin texture, it brightens, sculpts and hydrates my skin throughout the day. It's a buildable coverage so you can have a light base or a full coverage base, even if you build it up it doesn't look cakey or leave foundation lines just a natural looking, flawless, blemish free skin glow. I did put to much on once but it still looked flawless and you couldn't tell, my skin looked just perfect. The good news is that it doesn't sink into fine lines and wrinkles either It didn't feel greasy in any way or break me out, at the end of the day my skin still looked as fresh and flawless as it did when I first applied it in the morning. I get loads of compliments about how amazing my skin looks when wearing it. It looks even more beautiful in the summer when the sun hits your skin, but I think it is also good for the winter when your skin can look dull, grey and lifeless. This foundation to me is worth every penny and I will definitely be buying more when I run out. (I use shade 5)
I bought this foundation a while ago but only started using it now because I wanted to finish others I started first. It has a light, I would say quite liquid texture. An unobtrusive scent that doesn't bother me personally. I define its coverage as light and I don't think it could be buildable. I tried to cover up a pimple scar and it didn't work very well. However, I do like the way it sits on my skin though. It smoothes it, evens out the complexion and gives it a very pleasant healthy glow and the feeling of well-hydrated, juicy skin. No fading or transfer. Make-up stays beautiful for hours. I'm not convinced it would be suitable for oily or acne-prone skin. Regarding the packaging - I personally like it very much because of its rounded shape at the bottom, and also I think it's quite practical (it's made of some kind of plastic) and thus reduces the risk of it being broken when traveling for example. It is also larger than most foundations (50 ml), i.e. is also economical. In short, I like #Dior Backstage Face and Body foundation and would recommend it and buy it again. Unfortunately I didn't find it on the Sephora website.
This serum is one of my most favourite skincare products I use daily. The Advanced Genifique Serum will always be a product I will continue to use. I purchased the full sized bottle of this amazing serum, after using a sample size bottle. I've been using it for some time now. I use the serum in the morning and in the evening. To say I am ecstatic is putting it midly. I am over the moon with this product. The serum gives me a really healthy and radiant glow. I apply the serum with the loaded dropper, which gives the correct dose for each application. The liquid feels silky to touch, and it really does glide over my skin so easily. My skin absorbs it quickly and feels immediately quenched and hydrated. Lancome has knocked it out of the park with this product, as my skin now feels comfortable, soft and supple, as well as feeling plumped. The Genifique serum helps to even out my skin tone and make it brighter and healthier. I love the look of the bottle and packaging, as it feels bougie and luxurious. I'm very happy in my skin.
Kerastase 8HR Magic Night Hair Serum offers a unique overnight solution for hair care. The standout feature is its deep nourishment. Applying this serum before bedtime allows it to work its magic while you sleep, providing intensive hydration and repair for your hair. You'll wake up to smoother, more manageable locks, and it's particularly beneficial for those with dry or damaged hair. However, one drawback worth mentioning is the price point. While the product delivers excellent results, it can be considered somewhat pricey for the quantity you receive. I found myself going through the bottle relatively quickly, which impact the overall cost-effectiveness. Nonetheless, if you prioritize hair health and are willing to invest in a high-quality treatment, the Kerastase 8HR Magic Night Hair Serum can be a valuable addition to your routine.

Garnier Skin Active Micellar Cleansing Rose Water All in 1 ---- I purchased my new bottle of Rose Water Micellar cleanser today and I found it in an amazing 700 ml size. This cleanser is so fresh and light and is perfect if you have sensitive or skin that can get dry or dull looking. The smell of rose is absolutely beautiful but not over powering and it is very uplifting. It is suitable for use on your face, eyes and lips and is respectable of the skin barrier. It effectively removes makeup, oiliness and impurities collected on the skin during the day. The enrichment of the rose oil helps to illuminate the skin to give it a lovely glow. After cleansing there is no need to rinse as it leaves zero residue behind on the skin. With it's Micelle Technology, Rose Water and Botanical Glycerin it captures make-up, impurities and dirt like a magnet and lifts them away from skin. The gentle formula effectively cleanses, gliding over skin to avoid rubbing or pulling delicate sensitive skin. This lovely product is recognised by the British Skin Foundation and Allergy UK due to its soothing formula. I love that all Garnier products are approved by Cruelty Free International under the Leaping Bunny Programme, the leading organisation working to end animal testing worldwide, and the recognised Cruelty Free Gold Standard. This means a lot to me and that is one of the reasons I love to use Garnier x
Another of my Ultimate Skincare products is for bodycare. I love Garnier Intensive 7 Days Aloe Vera Probiotic Extract Body Lotion for Normal Skin, and also the mango version. They are fast absorbing, non-greasy and are non-sticky. These nourishing body moisturisers come in good sized 200ml or 400 ml bottles. I have normal skin but it can get a bit combination. I get some dryness on my knees, elbows and heels. I apply these lovely body moisturizers after my bath or shower any time of the year. I massage all over the body paying special attention to areas that get drier. I like to massage it into my skin when it has a slight dampness to seal in extra moisture and hydration. They smell absolutely gorgeous especially the mango it smells good enough to eat. They are refreshing, instantly hydrating, the hydration is long lasting and effective. Skin feels super soft.
I have been taking special care of the area around the eyes since I was about 20 years old and now (42 years old)😁 I dare to say that I have tried enough products to be able to judge whether a product is worth it or not. In essence... As I wrote a while ago, Vida Glow eye contour cream impressed me initially as a way of presentation, but two-three weeks later I can already say that my sympathies are not only in terms of packaging. To be honest, I was impressed even after the first few times I used it, but I'm not a fan of sharing an opinion on a skincare product after 1-2 uses (it's not serious).😉 Well, a wonderful cream. A very gentle texture, medium thick, which spreads over the skin like butter. It absorbs quickly, does not leave a greasy or sticky layer, but a very nice brightening. The sensation is of perfect hydration. A great makeup base. It has a delicate fragrance which, at least for me, does not cause any adverse reactions, even though I have sensitive eyes and wear glasses. Unfortunately, however, I found that it is no longer available on the Sephora site, even though I purchased mine about a month ago.😏
The Vichy Dercos Densi-solutions have a fabulous conditioner for my hair that was thinning on the front left of my scalp, I have been treating it with this for about 1.5 months (& conditioning the rest of my hair with the Vichy Multi-Protein Mask) & it has worked wonders in encouraging new & faster hair growth, by quite a bit too. I am amazed with the results, in this time the rest of my hair has grown half an inch at most, whereas the treated area has grown at least 2 inches (my hair grows really slowly normally). The formular is enriched with Rhamnose, a naturally occurring sugar that improves scalp health for stronger hair growth, Ceramides that help to reinforce hair & improve structural damage that leads to brittleness & peppermint oil, that improves hair growth by stimulating the scalp (this is where some of the lovely scalp tingle comes from I believe) & has hair loss prevention properties, a fabulous combination for effective hair growth. Has a lovely natural but mild minty smell, not at all synthetic, an amazing treatment for thinning & weak hair, feels so soft, smooth and easier to manage after using this & the thinning area has thickened up significantly in this time. I highly recommend this product to anyone with thinning hair or hair that snaps off at the weak root due to over dyeing & bleaching (like me for the last 25+ years), it has done wonders for my hair and stimulating the scalp to grow strong, thick and healthy hair.
My delivery came a few days ago of Vichy Dercos Densi - Solutions shampoo and thickening balm conditioner. The reviews sounded really good and the product information sounded absolutely perfect for my hair that I had to give it a try. It is intended to restore natural volume and bounce to your hair when you wash with the Densi-Solution Shampoo. It is suitable for even the most sensitive of scalps, and it re-builds weakened strands, whilst decreasing limpness. The thickening shampoo contains rhamnose and filoxane to add thickness to the hair, whilst gently removing impurities and oil build-up..It has a lightweight texture that forms a generous foam when lathered, and it delicately scents the hair. Combined with the restoring thickening balm conditioner It leaves nice volume and bounce to the hair. It is recommended to continue to use every wash and after six weeks you see a real difference to the hair texture. It sounds exactly what I need to help restore body and strength to my hair after the menopause and issues with stress. I shall continue to use.
Another fantastic product from Vichy, new and improved version of Liftactive Supreme Eyes. The original formula has been boosted with Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin Cg and Probiotic derived fractions. Hyaluronic Acid - is a key ingredient in skin care products. It has the unique ability to retain moisture. It also helps to reduce wrinkles and lines. Vitamin Cg is a synthetic form of vitamic C and posseses similiar skin care benefits as anti-aging and antioxidant properties but also radiance and helps to minimize the visible signs of aging. Rhamnose - naturally derived plant sugar, known to help firm the skin and improve uneven skin tone. Caffeine - has draining properties, decreasing water retention and puffiness. Helps to reduce under eye bags. The cream has lightweight, non greasy and fast absorbing formula. I've used it for the last 14 days and I've noticed that my fine lines diminished, puffiness decreased, dark circles started to lighten up but also crow's feet wrinkles started to decrease. Skin is hydrated, soft and smooth. I'm very happy with the outcome of using this product and I recommend it to everyone.
A few months ago I was kindly gifted a couple of HUM Nutrition Skin Squad Pre+Probiotic bottles. This supplement claims to "nurture the gut and clear skin of non-cystic acne" thanks to 9 strains of bacteria plus konjac root for balanced gut health.  Having acne-prone skin since I can remember (although not as bad as it used to be) I was very interested in seeing what this product could do for me.  I started taking them last month and after over 6 weeks I can certify that they do help prevent breakouts, as I have had only very few minimal ones and only 1 or 2 bigger ones over the last few weeks. Any rare breakouts I experienced also cleared quite quickly and left no marks on my skin. It is recommended to take 2 capsules daily, which could be a struggle for me sometimes even though they are on the smaller side.  Something I did not love is that they do have an unpleasant smell to them (they are full of bacteria after all) but it was a bit unexpected and could be off-putting for some. There has also been some slight bloating which I can't be sure if the capsules have caused, however if you are looking forward to an important event for which you would like to have clear skin then the HUM Nutrition Skin Squad Pre+Probiotic are definitely worth a try.  Link to purchase:  www.sephora.co.uk/p/HUM-Nutrition-Skin-Squad-Skin-Supplement-60-capsules-30-days?awinid=22773&awc=22773_1693922272_a9ec1e6af1f60c9ee32d94be46ae024b
I have used so many types of SPF sunscreens but this formula is by far the best because it gives high protection against UVA, UVB, ultra-long UVA rays and sun exposure. I wear sunscreen all year round as my daytime moisturiser whenever I am outside.  This formula is light weight, non-greasy and runny that easily absorbs into your skin and doesn’t look greasy and shiny and a little goes a long way so you don’t need too much. I love the fact that it spreads easily, sinks in almost instantly and leaves my skin smooth with no white cast or greasiness and no heavy shine, just a subtle glow. It’s suitable for sensitive skin and it’s non-fragranced that means no irritation to your skin. And it’s made of 100% recycled materials so, it can be recycled and environmental friendly. How To Apply: I apply this sun cream daily under my make up and it didn’t affect my make up look. It’s lightweight with no residue or yellow left behind on my face, it perfect sunscreen just make sure to shake the bottle as it’s a liquid form and you can reapply frequently and especially after sweating, towel-drying or swimming. Key features: 1: Lightweight, invisible facial sunscreen for all skin types. 2: Offers broad-spectrum protection against UVA, UVB and ultra-long UVA rays. 3: Resistant to water, sweat and sand. 4: Non-sticky formula that doesn’t leave white marks. 5: Minimalist, hypoallergenic formula that’s tested been on sensitive skin. 6: Features a travel-friendly design with a mess-free nozzle.
I absolutely love the Elemis Frangipani Monoi Body Oil ♥️ This truly exotic oil is is rapidly absorbed to deliver vital moisturisation to dry, parched skin. This product solidifies at cooler temperatures. It’s always best to place the bottle into a bowl of lukewarm water to return it to its silky liquid. It’s best used after bathing onto damp skin, massaging over the entire body. This is also good for your hair and nails, so can be massaged into your nails ready for a manicure. For a weekly treat you can also massage a small amount into the hair, cover with a warm towel, relax for 15 minutes, then rinse and shampoo off. This is one of the most luxurious oils I have ever used. After using my skin is almost baby soft and feels so silky. Every now and again we all need to take time for the and have a well deserved pamper night. It’s so relaxing and perfect to do about an hour before bed. 🌷
I am very impressed with this cleansing balm in terms of scent, packaging and performance. Comes in a large pot of a pale green colour with a silver mirrored lid , comfortable while holding too. Once the lid is removed , you are surrounded with a gentle, soft and delicate fig and flowery scent of the balm that invites you to used it and feel the luxurious benefits of this wonderful cleansing balm. It has a faded yellowish colour , that it transformed in to a clear balm once it melts away while applying it on the skin. Absolutely love this, melts away all make up with ease, especially your mascara even the waterproof one , just make sure you gently use your fingers wo massage the eyelashes without putting it much pressure on them. It is so gentle & doesn’t irritate eyes at all. With a mix of oils and butters this cleansing balm is a truly luxurious spa skincare routine that makes your skin feeling deeply cleansed, soothed and unbelievable soft. After removing the balm with the Elemis cloth provided with the balm , my skin felt soft , hydrated and refreshed. I would love to mention that this has being used for a month now and there is still left 3/4 of the balm left in the jar , so this will definitely go a very long way. A product that I will definitely recommend to be tried and this will make you used it in the future.
What is the foundation of your beauty routine? Mine is definitely cleansing... It's where my journey began, and it's still my favourite part of my routine. Gender stereotypes in the 1970s meant all little girls played with makeup from about the age of 5 (although my blue Rimmel eyeshadow also doubled as a Star Trek communicator, when we were playing in the garden... I also used to draw little tattoos on myself with my mum's kohl pencil, colour them with lipsticks and set them with her face powder 🤣) But my skincare journey really began aged 11, when I started buying my own. I started small... my friend was an Avon rep (surely not legal now or then, but we didn't question it, and gave her all our pocket money). I used to buy Avon oatmeal face bars to wash my face with. That lasted about a year until I decided I didn't like soap. Then I moved onto my first bottle of Anne French. At that point I didn't wash my face with water again until I left school, relying on only cleansing fluid and toners. Once I started earning my own money, it was onwards and upwards... My bestie at the time worked for Kanebo in Harrods, and i discovered Japanese skincare for the first time. I discovered that oil-based cleansers, followed by a regular face wash with a brush, were so much better. I bought a moisturiser too! 🤣 I've been adding each new skincare development into the mix (as money permitted), until we're at the present day. And just like when I was 11, all my disposable income still goes on skincare and makeup 🙈🤣😘I'd love to hear your skincare journeys 🥰💖
It’s difficult to choose an ultimate skincare product as a dermatitis sufferer I class skincare as my whole body not just my face. If my body is happy then it’s easier to focus on everything else, when it’s not, it’s difficult. I am constantly looking for products to relieve my symptoms, my body skin health is actually more important than facial at times. After years of trial and error and wasted money, I found Cicaplast Baume B5 + from La Roche Posay and it has been a life saver. It’s really smooth and soothing, it’s non greasy but leaves my skin feeling soft. What makes it a great product is the 5% Panthenol (B5) , it’s a moisturiser and anti bacterial. If, like me, you sometimes scratch beyond repair, this stops the need almost immediately and also prevents skin infections.  I couldn’t be without a tube in my handbag just in case of emergencies and always have plenty in stock!
Ultimate skincare product - CeraVe foot cream - This has quickly become my favourite foot cream, it is so smooth and hydrating, and actually feels like it absorbs deeply into the skin, unlike most other foot creams I’ve tried that just coat the foot and don’t hydrate the skin. I like to use a really thick layer in the bottom and sides of my feet and then put on socks to keep it in place whilst it does its magic. I’m a nurse, so over the years my feet have been punished with 8-12h shifts, without breaks, and not sitting down at all in that time, so as you can imagine it has created super dry, hardened skin on my heels and ball of foot, which has become a nightmare to remove, even with a natural volcanic rock. Since adding this into my routine it’s made a huge difference, not only in reducing the dryness, but also stopping them drying out between applications (which again did happen with other foot creams), the skin feels softer day by day, so am looking forward to seeing the long term effects of using this, as I continue to use on a daily or twice daily basis (if I use it twice, I put less on to make it last longer), but you don’t need much so the tube could last a long time. Another top quality product from CeraVe, highly recommend
I don’t know about you, but there’s nothing more I love than a good close up makeup look, flaws & all. I love to see real skin. Show me them freckles. Show me your smile lines! 🙌 that spot you’ve gone too hard on? Show it. Or show you doing your godly work of covering it 😏 a year or so ago I wouldn’t post on here without a filter. I was so self conscious of the real me. And now I post FULL ON close ups of my boat race, here and on Instagram🙃, and I’m proud and happy in the skin I’m in. This is a place of positivity, body, face, & everything inbetween that makes each individual person beautiful in their own way. I love real content, nothing beats it, and nothing beats a true representation of a product in all its glory! If there’s ever a place to do it, it’s here. Let it all out! It’s all love! 🙌💖(No baps though please) 👀🤣🫶
💫 I was super excited to try this revolutionary mascara - especially that is designed to help lengthen and separate lashes. 💫Being the first mascara that I have tried from this brand, to be honest,I expected the Wow effect as it mentioned it is. 💫It has a good grip while holding it for application. it is easy to work with is too. To be honest , I personally hold myself against applying more than 1 coat and it is so hard as I want to separate the lashes perfectly and this can only be done by working on each particular part, without affecting the perfectly done parts . I also felt the bristles were a bit too harsh on my lash line and created mild discomfort on the application as I wanted to get as closer to the lash line. The brush with two different parts that combs and lengthens the eyelashes a lot if used more than one time, provided indeed a great finish . It is very black and also gives volume. 💫I like this mascara because it has a very high color intensity, it does not transfer to the eyelid or fall into the dark circles and as the day goes by it remains completely intact and with long and curved eyelashes like the first thing in the morning. Also, it removes make-up very well. Some positive points from me are that it feels very natural while on , without adding weight, a smooth and lightweight texture also it is fragrance free . 💫The mascara did not perform well while the humidity was very high, leaving my eyes looking like a panda after a full day outside - perhaps the waterproof version is much better for those days. 💫As a final conclusion - this mascara delivers the promises of length and volume as stated it will be, but please note that this is only my personal opinion after using the product for 1 week every day in a different weather
My latest frangrance purchase 😍 Nomade Jasmine Naturel Intense 75ml by Chloé is a floral/fruity frangrance that's enchanting & tropical and awakens the senses taking you on a voyage overseas, its packaged in a pretty transparent glass bottle with a gold cap & atomizer with a pretty brown braid around the neck that represents the bonds of women through travel and ongoing encouters. This frangrance is vegan and 100% natural -origin Eau de Perfum, contains no artificial colourings and is formulated with naturally derived alcohol and water nothing else. I loved this explanation of purging, it happened to me in may and I couldnt stand the breakouts, so stopped using the product that caused it.. What Is Skin Purging and Is It Actually Good for Your Skin? We’ve all been there. We buy ourselves a new skincare treat and settle in for a night of self-care, only to be met with flare-ups and irritations. And while sometimes this can be a sign of allergies or acne, you might have been experiencing skin purging - but can this be a good thing? We asked CeraVe’s Dr Shireen to explain the science behind what skin purging really is, why sometimes your skin has to get worse before it gets better, and when to call time on something new. What is skin purging?Skin purging refers to when you use a new product or ingredient on your face that increases the cell turnover rate. During this process, sometimes dirt, excess sebum and oil can also come to the surface - which can cause spots and pustules to form. This is what we refer to as skin purging. How can I tell the difference between a purge, a breakout, and acne? It's usually a matter of time before you can tell the difference. Purging can take anywhere from one week to a month, based on the turnover rate of the cells. A breakout due to irritation - or your skin reacting negatively to the ingredients - would take much longer, or it might be a persistent problem. You will normally notice purging in areas where there is already an excess of oil and you've had breakouts or acne in the past.  How do I know if my skin is purging?Typically, if you’re using a new product that’s known to increase cell turnover rates, such as a Retinoid or an exfoliating acid, and you notice your skin becoming dry, peeling, or forming new spots, it’s very likely that your skin is purging. Is skin purging a good thing?Although at the time of experiencing these irritations you may feel you are not getting the benefits of the product, it's just a matter of time before you will. Purging means you are getting rid of dead skin, dirt and excess sebum. The biggest mistake people make is to stop using a product due to purging - if you persist you will see the benefits. Which ingredients cause it?Any ingredient that increases the cell turnover rate can lead to purging. Retinoids, Alpha and Beta Hydroxy Acids, Benzoyl Peroxide, Azelaic Acid and Vitamin C are the most common ingredients. Chemical peels and facials are also known to cause purging. What products should I avoid to ensure my skin doesn’t purge?Avoid products that increase cell turnover. If you do want to use these ingredients and don’t want to purge, then I would advise easing yourself in very gently, and complimenting your routine with nourishing, Ceramide-rich formulas to ease any discomfort and protect your skin barrier. For example, when introducing a Retinol product, start using it twice a week at first, then three times, gradually getting your skin used to the product and regulating cell turnover. When will I see the benefits of skin purging? In terms of how long it takes to see the benefits of purging, it really depends on how quickly the cells turnover; typically, it's between four to six weeks. If it’s more than eight weeks and your skin’s still showing signs of purging, this might be a breakout or a reaction. In this case, stop using the product and see your local doctor or Dermatologist to get more advice.Browse our recommended products for the skin purging process below. To flare or trigger the process, opt for Medik8, The Inkey List, Wishful, or Ole Henriksen products. Then follow up by fixing or treating the skin with our Skinfix, Glow Recipe, CeraVe, Laneige, or Sephora Collection options.https://www.sephora.co.uk/inspiration/what-is-skin-purging-new
This is a new purchase for me.  I needed something to help my hair, it doesn’t matter if I’ve used a deep conditioning mask or an everyday conditioner my hair gets tangled easily lately.  I’ve only used it a few times so haven’t noticed some of the benefits yet, but I have noticed how much easier it is to comb/brush my hair. Plus the fragrance of this spray is amazing, sweet banana and coconut.. (just like banana sweeties) Have you tried this? 🍌🥥🍌🥥🍌🥥🍌🥥🍌🥥🍌🥥🍌🥥🍌 Umberto Giannini Nourishing leave in conditioning spray glides through knots, tangles and split ends. Smooths frizz and fly-aways for healthy manageable hair.  Banana extract - Rich in potassium and nourishing vitamins A, C and B. With natural oils to moisturise and soften hair, improves manageability and shine.  Coconut Oil - Rich is anti oxidants and Vitamin E to nourish hair, lock in moisture, soften and conditions.  🥥🍌🥥🍌🥥🍌🥥🍌🥥🍌🥥🍌🥥🍌
I have been loving using Sanctuary Spa Golden Sandalwood Natural Oils Ultra Rich Wet Skin Miracle Moisturiser. It comes in a good sized 200 ml bottle. It is easy to squeeze the product from the bottle as it has a nice rich texture. The scent of Golden Sandalwood is glorious and so uplifting. It is so different to anything else I have used before. To use it is very easy you simply finish your shower and turn the water off or stand out of the bath. Whilst still soaking wet, apply the product like you would any moisturiser.I would advise a bath mat to avoid slipping. A little really does go a long way so apply a little at a time over your body. Remember to not apply it to your face. Do not rinse off! and pat dry with a towel. Skin is left so soft and smooth and smelling beautiful. I love that it is formulated with 95% ingredients of natural origin with hyaluronic acid, shea and cocoa oils and Avocado oil. Another bonus is that it is vegan and cruelty free so beauty with kindness. Love it.
I've been slowly working my way through my Sephora Community prize and tried out the Gisou Honey Infused Leave-In Conditioner and the Virtue Healing Oil. Both are brands I haven't tried before so I was really excited to give them a go. My hair is long, thick, bleached, often frizzy and long overdue a cut! I rarely leave my hair to air dry because, if I washed my hair at 8am, it'd still be wet by the time I go to bed, but last night I left it a good couple of hours before blow drying out of laziness. It looked AWFUL: frizzy, dry, messy, wavy, like I'd spent a day at a really humid, rainy beach... so I thought let's try some of these new hair products and see if I can salvage it! I usually use the Moroccanoil leave in conditioner which I first tried through the Sephora Test and Review and have been a repeat purchaser of. I love it, it's really hydrating and has usually meant I don't need to go so heavy on the oil. However, the Gisou leave in conditioner is SO different - it feels really thin and I was convinced it would have no effect at all on my hair. I was so wrong! I combined it with my Kerastase heat protection cream but as soon as I began drying my hair, it turned from a frizzy, damaged mess, to smooth, soft and untangled. It also smells fantastic! I don't think I've ever had a product that has made such a difference to my hair. I then used a couple of drops of the Virtue oil, which, again, is really thin and I didn't think would have any effect. Just a small amount through the ends was amazing, again, super soft and immediately cleared up the final bits of frizz I get underneath. It also smells incredible, like freshly baked coconut cookies! Today I used a couple more drops to refresh my hair and it looks amazing - it's like my split ends have been glued back together, there's hardly any visible damage any more! I really can't give enough praise to both of these products - I'm usually a big fan of Olaplex, Philip Kingsley, Moroccanoil etc, but these two have completely changed the condition of my hair! It's about 7 months since my last cut, so really in need of a trim, but these made me feel like I've just stepped out of a celebrity salon!
ELEMIS PRO-COLLAGEN ROSE MICRO SERUM I’ve seen a few posts about the new elemis rose serum, so thought I’d give my brief thoughts about it! I purchased this serum about 2 weeks ago and have used daily since I can’t get a good picture of it, but this serum is actually lots of little balls which is an oil-in-serum dual phase consistency that blends together nicely when applied to the skin. Although it has oil in it, it doesn’t feel greasy or heavy on the skin and it sinks in quickly to my oily skin type without adding any extra oiliness. It feels really hydrating and plumps the skin nicely This serum claims to repair and strengthen the skin barrier, which is what appealed to me. I’ve been using strong acids on my face for a few years now to combat hyper pigmentation and I’ve found that I’ve destroyed my skin barrier, with areas of my face becoming inflamed and dehydrated. This serum has completely healed the inflammation and soreness I was experiencing so I’d say it does repair the skin barrier and quickly too. The formula is very soothing on the skin Overall this is a pricey serum, and there may be cheaper alternatives on the market which achieve the same hydrating and barrier repair effects, however the feeling of this serum is extremely luxurious, the texture feels very sophisticated compared to other serums, and the results of hydration and barrier repair have occurred quite quickly. I need to continue using this until it’s empty to see if it’s good for anti-aging and filling wrinkles, but I am in my twenties so anti-aging isn’t a huge concern just yet (although my eyes are getting there 😭). It has a really light rose fragrance to it and the overall experience of using this has been lovely. I would 100% repurchase this, it has integrated nicely into my stripped back skincare routine!
