Hey ladies…. So I love Nars foundation. On a daily basis I wear the light reflecting foundation and the long wear for nights out. Recently I have bought the milk hydra grip. But am finding this is making my foundation separate and even look dry. My skin naturally isn’t dry. I always prep with Paula’s choice, a serum and then Bobbi Brown vitamin cream. So my base is definitely prepped. But my foundation just seems to separate. Does anyone know why? And could you advise a primer to go with the light reflecting foundation? Thank you xx

Sometimes depending on the product they can be oil based or water based and if one or the other is different it can cause those issues. I find some brands just generally don’t get on better with others. I’ve used nars dew primer and that’s worked really well with their tinted moisturiser and foundation, elf power grip is good, I also have no issues with benefit or Relove revolution h2o primer.

@Christina Thank you for the link. I have ordered it as refuse to spend all that money on make up and it not look right. So ordered that and the too faced hangover ( I use to use this years ago when I wore Nars Sheer glow) a family member will be gifted my Milk hydra grip as have only used it twice ☺️xx (edited)
