always keep paracetamol handy for any aches and pain and also to lower your temperature if you have a fever. If you have a thermometer i suggest taking your own tempature twice a day. Drink plenty of fluids and rest well.

The only thing that helped give me relief was having a cold flannel on my forhead and neck, drinking LOTS of water, gargling with dispensable aspirin and lots of rest and sleep when possible
