I’m not sure if I’m late to the party but I have only started doing this recently- applying skincare to damp skin! I find that the products penetrate much deeper and really work their magic. I even apply my tretinoin every night to damp skin and it has really transformed my skin, I have seen results much faster than when I was applying to a dry face ✨

I find that my concealer and foundation often creases and gathers in my upper eyelids. Does anyone have any advice or is this just something I have to live with? Thankyou in advance!

Use hydrating serum and cream ( it really helps) which makes a perfect make up base

I never put my eye cream on the brow bone in the morning, just underneath my eyes, the eye area needs to be clean and dry before applying makeup. I apply my foundation, then concealer, and then set with loose powder and powder eyeshadow. Add the eyeshadow always even if you don't want to wear eyeshadow, it adds another layer of powder and locks the cream products in. You can wear neutral skin toned eyeshadow, if you want yo be more natural, but it definitely helps. Also with the concealer creasing underneath the eyes, if you set with loose powder and puff and then add just a bit of powder eyeshadow on top, it will hold the creases in bay.

Me too. I have learnt that prepping the skin with skincare helps. Don’t over moisturise tho. Also apply less concealer and then build up if you need to. A fine powder afterwards, a little bit only, helps too. Xx

I would suggest the Avene cleanance comedomed serum - it is very gentle and hasn’t aggravated my acne prone skin. For more responses I think it would be better to post this question in the Ask the Community channel 🫶🏼🫶🏼

i struggled a lot with acne and what worked best for me was using the acnecide foam cleanser every morning and night and using the spot cream i saw result roughly after 2 weeks🥰
