To all my girlies on their curly hair journey… what are your ride or die products? I think my hair is technically classified as ‘wavy’ as it’s not super tight curls at the route. High porosity.

My ride or die for hair washing is john frieda frizz ease shampoo and conditioner I also really like coco & eve products but find they are more expensive for less product! For styling John frieda oil's are great for straightening as well as colour wow extra strength dream coat. Finally, sol de janeiro leave in conditioner is an all time favourite!

As annoying as this is going to sound, it is trial and error for your personal ride or dies but I can share some advice from my journey and my curly routine. As I also has psoriasis on my scalp, I have to be SO careful about the products I use, however, I have found as long as the shampoo and Conditioner you use are sulphate and paraben free and nourishing (I currently use the Sol De Janiero range) they matter much less than the products AFTER your hair is clean, I use the bumble and bumble curl anti-humidity gel and it is SO great, I coat my hair in it once I have squeezed out excess and before I defuse and I find it keeps the frizz at bay and gives me just enough hold for my liking, I have 2C hair for Ref x
