hi i’m trying to find the best products to help me define my waves, my hair goes curly/wavy when wet but when it dries the waves become slight kinks and my hair just goes frizzy. any suggestions?

There's a fine balance between using enough product and using too much. I've recently had highlights added to my curls and I have had to add a richer curl cream into my routine to control the frizz. I use a light leave in conditioner and I have now added a rich curl cream which I apply to very wet hair. I brush this through my hair with my head upside down to add volume. Then I'll add either a gel or mousse and scrunch this into my curls before diffusing. You need to use enough product to create a cast/crunch when dry. Once completely dry you break the cast by scrunching and gently fluffing out the curls. I'll add oil to finish and lock in the products. If your hair is fine you might just need light leave in conditioner with a stong gel. The more porous and damaged then more hydrating products are good. Cantu, Shea Moisture, curl smith, John Freida all have great products. Bed head curl cream gives a strong hold. Check YouTube for wavy/curly hair styling tips
