Hi guys! I'm thinking of trying a retinol based product as I'm getting older. I'm a bit nervous of the side effects. Does anyone have recommendations/experience please?

The Inkey List is a really good retinol to begin with as it's really gentle on the skin. Start off using it once or twice a week for the first two weeks, then 3 times a week for a few weeks. You can then increase the frequency depending on your skin. This was the first retinol I used, several years ago and my skin never felt dry or irritated. In fact, my skin felt great using it. Remember it can take up to 3 months before you see real improvements using retinol products. start from low % and do it 2x a week , you can layer this on top of moisturiser to avoid irritation- worked for me and i am 30 using it for 3 years already
