Hey me again👋 so I understand basics of make up, and I'm slowly understanding how to contour but what is the difference between setting powder and pressed powder and what would you all recommend. I have my basic make up routine mainly for nights out so I'm updating most of my make up and buying lots of new products so any recommendations for any make up at all would be appreciated also the best skin care before make up 💜 sorry its long

Pressed powder I find helps a lot with oiliness and creasing so in my t-zone and under my eyes whereas loose powder helps to prevent smudging and mattify my look. For pressed powder my favourite is the charlotte tillbury airbrush flawless finish powder, and loose powder my favourite is the one/size translucent powder or huda beauty! If you want a cheaper one maybelline do a good pressed powder too x😍

@Jodie I’ve really been enjoying the Farmacy cleansing balm at the moment but if you’re looking for a cheaper alternative the Elf holy hydration whole range is great. I’ve been using the Charlotte Tilbury serum and magic cream moisturiser also, apparently Revolution does dupes of them but I haven’t personally tried them myself. I also love the Bobbi Brown face base moisturiser which Primark and Aldi do dupes of but haven’t personally tried them either xx
